Prohibition on the Purchase of Residential Property by Non-Canadians Act Reminder

On January 1, 2023, the Government of Canada's Prohibition on the Purchase of Residential Property by Non-Canadians Act, commonly known as the "Foreign Buyer Ban" came into effect.

Reminder to licensees that the Commission does not administer this Act so cannot answer questions or provide interpretations.
