Commission Office Closures

The office will be closed on Friday, December 20, 2024 for office maintenance. Staff will be working remotely.

The office will be fully closed for the holidays from Monday, December 23, 2024 until Thursday, January 2, 2025. If you have time-sensitive inquiries during the holiday closure, email the Registrar. Non time-sensitive inquiries can be directed to the appropriate staff member, who will respond when they resume work in the new year.

New Ministerial Directive
Important Deadlines

New Ministerial Directive

The provincial government has introduced a new ministerial directive under the Emergency Management Act which will require landlords to gain residential tenants' consent for in-person showings in cases where the property is being sold, effective May 21, 2021. The directive is in effect until June 30 unless extended. If you are working with seller clients of income properties, it is important for you to review this information.

Important Deadlines for Licensees

The Commission reminds licensees of the following important deadlines:

May 31 - Call for Committee Members Deadline

The Commission is calling on licensees to put their names forward to serve one-year terms on the following committees: Licensing, Complaints Review, Discipline, Education, Commercial, Forms, and Recovery Fund. For more information, click HERE

June 15 - Mandatory CPE Course Deadline

Licensees are required to complete the online course, All About Offers: Relationships, Contracts, Communication & Disclosure, by June 15, 2021. Questions can be directed to Claire Beck at This email address is being protected from spambots. Any licensee who does not complete their course by June 15th will not be able to renew their licence. Their licence will terminate effective July 1st and they must immediately cease all trading activities.
