Board of Directors Updates

Election Results

The election for a position on the Commission's Board of Directors opened at 9am on Monday and closed at 4pm on Wednesday. Congratulations to Logan Morse, salesperson for Royal LePage Atlantic, for securing the most votes. This year’s election had 32.9 per cent of licensees casting ballots. In last year’s election, 34.2 per cent of licensees cast ballots. Thank you for voting!

NSAR Appointment

Kim Fox, salesperson for Re/Max Nova, was re-appointed by the NSAR to the Commission Board of Directors for a three-year term. Congratulations Kim!

Outgoing Board Members

The Commission staff and Board of Directors wish to thank Carol Beal and Anthony Brown for their dedication and service. Carol was a public appointee and completed one two-year term and one three-year term. Anthony was an elected member and completed a three-year term.

Chair and Vice Chair Election

Following the AGM, the Commission's Board of Directors held an election for chairperson and vice chairperson. Linda Smardon, broker of Exit Realty Metro, was re-elected as chairperson, and Greg Taylor, broker for Colliers International was re-elected as vice chairperson. Congratulations Linda and Greg!
