New Non-Resident Tax Measures

The government of Nova Scotia has created a page with more information on the Provincial Deed Transfer Tax and Property Tax for Non-residents of Nova Scotia as announced in the 2022-2023 budget. Government will release more information and required forms in the near future. Please check the link for updates.

Board of Directors Election

The election for a seat on the Board of Directors will be held online, opening on Monday, April 18th at 9am and closing on Wednesday, April 20th at 4pm. Ballots will be sent by email. The election results will be announced at the Commission's virtual Annual General Meeting on April 21st. 

The Board of Directors serve the public interest by setting policies and standards of practice, approving entrance standards, reviewing and approving the annual operating budget, and approving additions and amendments to the By-law. 

The Commission has two nominees for election for a seat on the Board of Directors:

  • Anthony Brown, Royal LePage Atlantic
  • Logan Morse, Royal LePage Atlantic
