The Commission has been notified of a suspicious male buyer that is contacting female licensees, using an out of province phone number. Licensees have reported the man as being extremely aggressive over the phone, very urgent to view properties and vague about their identity. The man has refused to provide proof of financing and did not pass the licensee's pre-vetting qualifications.
The following individuals' real estate licences are suspended for failure to complete continuing education requirements.
The Commission has received reports of advertising by licensees that does not comply with the Commissions 'Coming Soon Advertising Policy.'
If you have already completed your mandatory CPE and completed your online licence renewal, you can disregard the remainder of this email.
Reminder to licensees of the following upcoming deadlines. Licensees who fail to complete their mandatory CPE and/or renew their licence before the deadlines will have their licences terminate effective July 1st, 2022 and must immediately cease all trading activities.
