Property Disclosure Statement – Clause 7

September 30, 2020

We have been notified by brokers that there is some confusion amongst licensees with how sellers are to complete clause 7 of the PDS, specifically clause 7.4 & 7.6 Sewage Disposal:

  • 7.1 defines the type of sewage disposal as – municipal, septic system, holding tank or complete other type that is not mentioned.
  • When completing 7.4 and 7.6, licensees are to advise sellers, that per it’s definition, sewage disposal includes municipal sewage disposal when answering these questions.
