Mandatory CPE Course for 2020-2021: All About Offers: Relationships, Contracts, Communication & Disclosure

The Commission's Education Committee made recommendations on the 2020-2021 Continuing Professional Education course, which was subsequently approved by the Board of Directors. This year's CPE course is All About Offers: Relationships, Contracts, Communication & Disclosure.

Nova Scotia licensees are required to complete the online course by June 15, 2021.

This online course will review important concepts relating to real estate offers and use a recent, real life case to explore their application in a complex residential offer situation.

This course is available via the NSAR Training Hub. Non-NSAR members will be contacted directly with instructions on how to access the course.

Education Requirements for Licensees

New licensees joining between July 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020 – Complete the mandatory course by June 15, 2021.

New licensees joining between January 1, 2021 and June 30, 2021 – No courses needed before licensing cycle ends on June 30, 2021.

Per Bylaw 323 (a), all industry members must complete the annual CPE requirements prescribed by the Commission for their licence prior to June 15th of each year.

Should an industry member fail to complete the requirements, their licence will not be renewed until proof that the requirements have been met and is provided to the Registrar.

Office Closed For Licensing Exams
