Happy Holidays, Office Closure & Update on Notary Requirements for Licensing

Happy Holidays & Office Closure

The Commission's staff wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season. The last year has been memorable and challenging for the real estate industry, but we look forward to a brighter future and new beginnings in 2021.

The Commission's office will close at noon on Thursday, December 24th and will reopen on Monday, January 4th at 8:30 a.m. If you have time-sensitive inquiries, contact Brad Chisholm, Registrar, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Update on Notary Requirements for Licensing

In March, the Commission temporarily waived notary requirements for applications due to office closures as a result of COVID-19.

Since operations have resumed and law and notary offices are open, the requirements to have applications notarized is now reinstated. Applicants may make appointments to have their applications notarized in the Commission office.

Licensing applications, completed in full and accompanied by all required documents, may be scanned and emailed to the Commission's Licensing Officer, Pam Crane: This email address is being protected from spambots.
