COVID-19 Update: April 26, 2021

Commission Office Closure

In keeping with the provincial government's recommendations regarding COVID-19, the Commission office will close Monday, April 26, 2021 at 4:30pm until further notice. Staff are working remotely. 

Any updates to the industry will be by news bulletin, which will be made available on Facebook and on the Commission's website.

Notarization Update

For licensing applications and audit forms requiring notary services, the requirements to have documents notarized will be waived until further notice.

May Licensing Exams Postponed Until June

Due to the changes in COVID-19 restrictions on travel and gatherings in HRM, the licensing exams scheduled for May 7th has been tentatively postponed until June 4th. Students already scheduled for the May exam will be contacted by the Commission via email to reschedule.

Stay Up To Date

Licensees are to educate themselves and their consumers about the current COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions so they can make informed decisions. Licensees are to follow the directives of the provincial and federal government.
