Commission Office Closures

The office will be closed on Friday, December 20, 2024 for office maintenance. Staff will be working remotely.

The office will be fully closed for the holidays from Monday, December 23, 2024 until Thursday, January 2, 2025. If you have time-sensitive inquiries during the holiday closure, email the Registrar. Non time-sensitive inquiries can be directed to the appropriate staff member, who will respond when they resume work in the new year.

The Commission wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season!

 

By-law Update, COVID-19 & Licence Renewals

By-law Update

The following By-law change was approved by the Board of Directors to enable the Commission to publish the names of individuals who do not renew their licence or take steps to terminate their licence. The publication of names ensures that the industry knows those individuals are no longer licensed and to cease any trading activity with them.

Broker Bulletin: Deposit Clause, CPE Deadline and Licence Renewals

Reminder to Brokers: APS Deposit Clause 1.3

The Commission reminds brokers that deposits larger than the amount of remuneration that will be owed must be held in trust as per clause 1.3 of the Agreement of Purchase and Sale. Excess funds cannot be held in the brokerage's trust account once all conditions are met, unrelated to title.

Deadline Reminders: CPE and Licence Renewals

Mandatory CPE Course Deadline Reminder: June 15

Licensees are required to complete the online course, All About Offers: Relationships, Contracts, Communication & Disclosure, by Tuesday, June 15th, 2021. There are currently still 274 licensees who have not completed the course.
