Modifications to the Audit Program: A Guide to Real Estate Audits in Nova Scotia
The Audit Program: A Guide to Real Estate Audits in Nova Scotia provides an understanding of the audit process and outlines the NSREC audit requirements. In preparation for the upcoming course: A Guide to Real Estate Audits in Nova Scotia, the Audit Task Force modified parts of the Audit Guide to improve clarification of the audit rating system that will be used.
One clarification noted in the Audit Guide is outlined in chapter two the “Determination of Discrepancies”, which establishes the mathematical breakdown for how audit ratings are determined. Additional modifications throughout the Audit Guide were made which include rewording verbiage to make the Audit Guide clearer to readers.

Audit Program: A Guide to Real Estate Audits in Nova Scotia
Mandatory Course for the 2018-19 Licensing Cycle
All licensees are required to take the course A Guide to Real Estate Audits in Nova Scotia by June 15, 2019. This course will provide licensees with a full day of instruction on the NSREC's updated Audit Program, which comes into effect January 1, 2019.
Registration for the course is now open. NSAR® members can register for the course using the NSAR® dashboard. Non-members can register online via www.nsrealtors.ca.
