Call for Committee Volunteers—Deadline to Apply is Next Friday
The NSREC is seeking volunteers to serve one-year terms on our committees.
Licensees are invited to apply to one or more of the following committees: Licensing, Complaints Review, Discipline, and Commercial.
There are different responsibilities and time investments for each committee. For example, members of the Licensing Committee and Complaints Review Committee are required to attend a minimum of four annual meetings and review documents prior to each meeting. On the contrary, members of the Discipline Committee may be called upon to serve on a hearing panel, which may result in a one-to-three day hearing, and additional time spent writing the hearing panel decision. For more information about the NSREC committees, visit our website.
To apply, applicants can send an email to Peggy Kell, Communications Officer, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., with the following information:
- “Committee Volunteer” in the subject line;
- Your name, your brokerage name, and the number of years you have been licensed;
- Which committee(s) you wish to join;

- Why you would like to volunteer with the NSREC.
Be advised that licensees applying must be in good standing. Before applying, refer to Bylaw 255 for what constitutes a licensee in “good standing.”
The deadline to apply is Friday, May 25, at 4:30 p.m. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
