How to get a copy of your licence certificate
To get a copy of your licence certificate, log in to the Licensee Portal using your email address and the password you created when you renewed your licence. If you don’t remember your password, click HERE to reset it.

  1. Click HERE to go to the Licensee Portal.
  2. Type your email address and password in the boxes and click Sign In.
  3. On the Member Dashboard, click the Licence Certificate button or click Licence Certificate in the left pane.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Print, Email, or Download button.

Identification required for first-time licensing
When recruiting, it is important to make sure that applicants for first-time licensing have the identification documents they require to obtain a licence.

Canadian-born applicants:

  • Birth certificate, and
  • Government issued photo ID (driver’s licence/passport)

Internationally-born applicants:

  • Citizenship card or certificate, or
  • Permanent resident card, or
  • Valid work visa, and
  • Government issued photo ID (driver’s licence/ passport)

Being able to legally work in Canada is a requirement of being licensed. Licensees with work visas must ensure the visa documentation provided to the Commission remains current. Provide a copy of the renewed/extended work visa to the Commission before the old work visa expires. Otherwise your real estate licence will expire on the same day as the work visa the Commission has on file.
