COVID-19 Update & Revision: Open Houses
On October 4th, 2021, Nova Scotia entered phase 5 of the reopening plan and began requiring proof of full vaccination for certain events and activities.
The office will be closed on Friday, December 20, 2024 for office maintenance. Staff will be working remotely.
The office will be fully closed for the holidays from Monday, December 23, 2024 until Thursday, January 2, 2025. If you have time-sensitive inquiries during the holiday closure, email the Registrar. Non time-sensitive inquiries can be directed to the appropriate staff member, who will respond when they resume work in the new year.

The Nova Scotia Government announced the Proof of Full Vaccination Policy is effective October 4th, 2021. This measure was introduced to help bring large groups of people together safely once there are no longer any gathering limits.
The Board of Directors struck a By-law Task Force to review and assess the adequacy of the By-law. The By-law Task Force is charged with preparing a report for the Board of Directors with recommended changes to ensure the By-laws are current and consistent with the Commission’s mandate.
The Nova Scotia government has announced the the province will be delaying starting phase 5 until October 4th, 2021.
