Suspension of Real Estate Salesperson Licence: James Steward-Lucas, formerly licensed with RE/MAX Nova
Commission Office Update

Suspension of Real Estate Salesperson Licence: James Steward-Lucas, formerly licensed with RE/MAX Nova

 Effective April 14, 2023

The Registrar hereby gives notice the real estate salesperson licence for James Steward-Lucas, formerly licensed with RE/MAX Nova, is suspended effective April 14, 2023 up to and including April 14, 2024 for violating Real Estate Trading Act Section 22 (1) (a) & (b).

Mr. Steward-Lucas was not licensed at the time of the disciplinary decision, which is why the suspension effective date is retroactive. The evidence supported that Mr. Steward-Lucas forged clients’ initials on an Amendment to an Agreement of Purchase and Sale without their knowledge or consent.

Mr. Steward-Lucas was ordered to pay $2,500 in fines.

This notice has been distributed to licensees in accordance with Commission By-law 839.
